How do I book if the hotel has no front desk?
The hotel has no front desk and offers guests maximum privacy. Everything is done completely wirelessly, from booking your suite to check-in and security. As there is no Front Desk staff at the hotel, reservations must be made online, same day reservations must be made by 3 pm. What is my Access Code?
Access through the front entrance and into your suite is by your personal keypad access code, which will be emailed to you 48 hours prior to your arrival. As there is no Front Desk staff at the hotel, your personal access code is your only means of entry and should not be misplaced or forgotten.
When do you pay for your room?
Pre-payment by credit card is required at the time of making your online reservation.
When is check in?
Check-in time is 4 pm or later. Guests arriving early will not be granted access prior to 3pm unless other arrangements have been made and approved by management. Check-out time is to be no later than 11 am, failure to depart before 11 am will result in an additional half day charge unless approved by management.
Are all the hotel rooms different?
The VanderMarck is a renovated heritage home and has 9 unique suites, whether you’re looking for an expansive suite with room for 4 and a full kitchen or a comfy studio with kitchenette we have something for you. Floor plans are available on the “our suites” page of our website.
Can I have my wedding or event at the VanderMarck?
We offer our best available rates for group room bookings. Imagine taking over all 8 suites for your wedding/event or throwing a private party in our beautiful outdoor patio. For more information and special rates please contact [email protected]
Do the suites have a kitchen and laundry?
Yes and No, while many of our suites have a full kitchen and laundry, some do not. Each suite is unique, some have a full kitchen (no oven) some have a kitchenette. A full kitchen includes a stove top, microwave, fridge and dishwasher while a kitchenette includes a microwave and bar fridge. If you do not have in suite laundry, laundry is available to all guests on the second floor.
Where can I park my car?
The VanderMarck has onsite parking for hotel guests. One Parking Spot is reserved with your suite, matching your suite number. Please remove your vehicle at time of checkout. If you are having visitors paid parking is nearby on Pine and Third.
Can I stay for a month?
We welcome long terms guests. Our suites are your home away from home, and many are complete with a full kitchen and laundry. For more information and promotional offers for long term stays please email [email protected].
Is The VanderMarck accessible by wheelchair?
Unfortunately as the VanderMarck is a renovated heritage home we are unable to accommodate wheel chair accessibility. The 2nd and 3rd floor suites are only accessible by the homes original refurbished staircase and there is no elevator. While the ground floor suites may be more suitable for those with mobility issues there are 5 steps to the hotel entrance.
Can I bring my pet?
We’re serious dog and cat lovers and understand the desire to bring your furry friend along for vacation. However, as different guests have different sensitivities and preferences, the VanderMarck is not able to accommodate pets
